About the ETAP Team

The ETAP brings together local New Hampshire knowledge with deep technical experience in energy planning.

CLF Ventures, Inc. - CLF Ventures is the non-profit consulting affiliate of the Conservation Law Foundation. We leverage market-based strategies to solve our clients' environmental problems and further CLF's mission. Originally operating as an experiment that seized opportunities as they arose, CLF Ventures has evolved to become a well-defined and purposeful organization. We have developed a unique set of capabilities that, in combination with our environmental reputation, lend distinct value to our clients. CLF Ventures gives CLF the chance to say "YES" to ground-breaking, market-based efforts to protect the environment.

CLF Ventures is the lead contractor on this project, providing project management and technical assistance.

 

Peregine Energy Group - Peregrine Energy Group makes energy make sense. Our customers are organizations with a large number of buildings and extensive, complex energy information. Clean Air-Cool Planet - Clean Air-Cool Planet is the leading organization dedicated solely to finding and promoting solutions to global warming: 

  • They partner with companies, campuses, communities and science centers to help reduce their carbon emissions.
  • They help our partners, their constituents, and other regional opinion leaders and stakeholders understand the impacts of global warming and its best available solutions, through comprehensive outreach efforts celebrating commitment, innovation and success in climate action.
  • They showcase practical climate solutions that demonstrate the economic opportunities and environmental benefits associated with early actions on climate change.
  • They propose and recommend the implementation of effective policy solutions aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions at the state, regional and national levels.

 

New Hampshire’s Regional Planning Councils – The ETAP team includes all nine NH Regional Planning Commissions, they include (in alphabetical order):

Central NH Regional Planning Commission - CNHRPC's Mission is to improve, through education, training, and planning assistance, the abilities of the municipalities of the region to prepare and implement municipal plans; to prepare a plan for effective and appropriate development and utilization of the resources of the region; and to assist municipalities in carrying out the regional plan.

Lakes Region Planning Commission - The Lakes Region Planning Commission is a non-profit association serving the people of the Lakes Region. Our Mission is to provide a quality environment, to increase economic opportunity and to encourage cultural development by supporting local efforts with education, technical assistance, information, advocacy and responsive representation.

Nashua Regional Planning Commission - The Nashua Regional Planning Commission serves the 13 communities of Amherst, Brookline, Hollis, Hudson, Litchfield, Lyndeborough, Mason, Merrimack, Milford, Mont Vernon, Nashua, Pelham, and Wilton. Since its formation in 1959, NRPC has provided its members with comprehensive solutions to local environmental, land use, transportation, and regional planning issues as well as cutting edge mapping & data services.

North Country Council – Founded in 1973, North Country Council (NCC) is a nonprofit regional planning agency serving 51 communities and 25 unincorporated places in the northern third of New Hampshire.

It is the mission of North Country Council to encourage effective community and regional planning for the development of economic opportunity and the conservation of natural, cultural and economic resources. This is accomplished by providing information, regional advocacy, technical assistance, community education, and direct service to the region, its organizations, and political subdivisions.

During our over 30-year history, NCC has always been a flexible organization, working with communities on a variety of issues and community concerns as needs have arisen. In its function of service to the region, NCC initiates or provides essential support for planning and economic development services.

Rockingham Planning Commission - The Rockingham Planning Commission is one of nine regional planning commissions in New Hampshire established by RSA 36:46. The Commission's region consists of twenty-seven communities within Rockingham County . The RPC is not affiliated with Rockingham County.

Operating as a non-profit local government organization, the Commission serves in an advisory role to local governments in order to promote coordinated planning, orderly growth, efficient land use, transportation access, and environmental protection. The Commission's professional planning staff provides an array of planning assistance to our 27 active member communities.

Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission – The Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission (SNHPC) was formed under the New Hampshire Statutes in 1966. The Commission serves as the coordinating agency for the planning initiatives of thirteen communities and close to 270,000 people in the Southern New Hampshire region. The Commission is also the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the region, which conducts transportation planning in a cooperative, comprehensive, and continuous manner. By taking a regional approach to address development concerns, we can attempt to craft effective and efficient solutions that will preserve the special character and valuable resources of the region.

Southwest Regional Planning Commission - Established in 1971, SWRPC is one of nine regional planning commissions in New Hampshire established under RSA 36. Our region covers a 35-town area in Cheshire, western Hillsborough, and Sullivan Counties. The Commission employs a staff of 8 professionals who possess a diverse range of planning related background and experience. We are active with municipal planning assistance, natural resources, transportation, community and economic development, emergency management, GIS, and energy planning as part of our overall agency work program.

Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission - Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission – The Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission is a not-for-profit, voluntary association of 27 municipalities in western New Hampshire. We provide a mechanism for communities that live, work and recreate together to plan for the balanced growth of the Region and collaborate on issues of common concern. UVLSRPC has been providing professional planning assistance to municipal boards since 1963. Our current staff's areas of expertise include comprehensive planning, land use regulations, development review, transportation planning, natural resource inventories, community/economic development, public participation, affordable housing, and hazard mitigation planning.
